TVF&R: Steve Mills reported from station 67. The Toy and Joy program is underway right now and new unwrapped toys can be dropped off at various locations throughout Beaverton. Steve reported that 26 firefighters just finished apparatus training on the driving of the Fire Trucks.
BCCI: Marv and Bob were both unable to attend.
PAL CLUB: The PAL Club is now in its 2nd full year. There are about 100 to 130 children attending daily. It was suggested it would be nice if we could have Jill back to update us on the last year of activity.
BYLAWS: The Neighborhood Association Committee would like to see our bylaws revised. We would like to reelect board members and then form a committee to go through the bylaws and update the board with the recommendations.
BEAVERTON CHRISTIAN CHURCH: The church will be adding additional parking due to its continued growth in membership. The land acquired is across Allen where the current parking lot will be expanded. The Church had a Neighborhood meeting and the Architects discussed the possible plans of remodeling the existing building off the main church and parking structure and expansion ideas. The Church is also looking at forming a partnership with the School District to use their parking lots and fields. The Church will also continue to shuttle people from Highland Middle School parking lots on Sundays. They also have plans to remodel the outside arena for multi use.
UPCOMING:
* Shawn Blumberg is leaving us next year for college and would like to have a letter of recommendation from the NAC. We agreed and will have Mike Dillon to write it.
* The Sorrento Circle: We need to approve a budget for Joan Lloyd.
* Picnic 2003: Is there going to be one? Budget?
