Gene Stauber presented the Plaque stand and presented the receipts for this project.

Marv Doty announced the cinnamon roll booth is this weekend for highland

Craig passed around a sign up sheet.  Marv and Evan will set up and break down the booth.  The City yard clean up is June 5th.  This will be held at City hall, we will have two directions of traffic for cars and truck pick-ups.  If you have trailers you will go to the yard at 5th street.  This will be $25.00 a load at the 5th street sight.  Cars and trucks will still take junk and yard debris to City hall.  The land use manual is in its final rendition and soon available to the NAC.

Voters Forum:  Bob announced that the non-partisan offices were there.  There were about 60 people there and done in about one and half hours.    This will also be on television.  Thank you to Bob for all the work.  There will be another voter’s forum in October.

Mailing List:  If you have a list please update them to Joan and let her know where you are at.  There are extra sheets available also.

Calling Tree: Elva is developing a calling tree from Hart Rd North on Wilson to Highland Middle School.  She is working on this and will update us next month

T-Shirts:  Jeff discussed the t-shirts of the forest green polo’s and the board discussed that the shirts for the board and volunteers the board would pay for them.  We will check the minutes for the approval of these shirts paid for.  $35 for screen set up.  Need to have minimum of 24 shirts which we will have no problem meeting.  We will also table this until next month for a quorum vote.  We will then decide how many to order for sale.

George Fetzer the code enforcement officer.  Code service manager for the City of Beaverton.  Abandon vehicle is their number one caseload.  Noise complaints, sign issues, sidewalks, parking, trees, obnoxious foliage, and many others. Shopping cart issue being abandon has been sent letters by the city regarding lost or stolen carts.  The business don’t seem to have a problem with this issue, it appears to be the cost of business.

Desert in the Park:  Will be held at Fir Grove Park on the August 8, 2004 from 2-4pm Sunday.  This is open to all Neighbors.  We will try to have all food and entertainment donated.  However, the drinks may need to be purchased, since there is no quorum we will discuss this next month.

Annual planning meeting:  It was suggested that a formal planning meeting be held prior to September starting back up.  This would be a good idea and have a full calendar that had updated events to work around a year calendar.  This would help make a better board and more efficient.

Meeting adjourned.
