APPROVAL OF MAY MINUTES:        Minutes of 05/11/06 approved by consensus.

 

TREASURER'S REPORT - reported by Dean Wilson, Treasurer

            Bank balance 06/08/06   $ 1,688.16

GUEST SPEAKERS:  Scott Burke, Beaverton Police Officer, spoke only briefly and

left the meeting due to a police call for response to a traffic accident.  A representative from

the TVFR attended briefly but was called away for the same accident.

 

BCCI Report:  Craig Bass gave the BCCI Report.  Robert Pockart, Economic Development,

gave a report at BCCI regarding the economic picture of the City of Beaverton. 

 

Craig announced that Picnic in the Park will be August 3 for the HNAC at Schiffler Park. 

 

CHANGES TO HNAC BYLAWS:  Bill Young gave an update regarding the process of

changes to the HNAC  Bylaws.  Bill indicated that the NAC could not vote on the bylaws

at this meeting because the changes had not yet been sent to Jeff Menzel or him for review.

 

ACTION ITEM:  Bill Young asked that the changes to the HNAC Bylaws be scheduled on

the NAC agenda in September.

 

BEAVERTON FARMERS' MARKET:    The HNAC will operate the Community Booth for the

Oregon Food Bank on June 24.   Marv asked for volunteers. 

 

The HNAC will operate the Community Booth on July 22.  Volunteers were requested for that

date as well.

 

SCHOLARSHIP:  Marv Doty indicated he represented the HNAC at the Scholarship presentations

at Beaverton High School.   He presented the $750 HNAC scholarship to Andrea Menzel. 

 

CITY OF BEAVERTON NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN-UP DAY REVIEW:  Marv Doty reported that

the HNAC had the most hours worked of all the Beaverton NACS.
