The check will be held in the NAC treasury until the student is accepted by the chosen educational institution and will be mailed directly to the institution.

Marv Doty suggested that if we are able to provide a scholarship check next year, that the NAC scholarship committee should meet with the candidates for a face-to-face interview.

BEAVERTON FARMERS MARKET BOOTH:   Beaverton Farmers' Market is open every Saturday from May 13 to October 24.  Jeff Menzel distributed a form for NAC members to sign up to assist the set-up and tear-down of the community booth.  Marv said that those signing up should attend on May 13 (the first Saturday) to learn the correct process.  It is the NAC consensus that most users have had experience in past years and will not need a lot of help.  The NAC members would be available to ensure that the processes are done correctly, and that the equipment is returned to the trailer appropriately.  Marv said this year the legs of the tent and the tables will be painted so that we receive the same equipment every Saturday.  Marv said that the tables have been repaired.  Marv said that he and Dean would meet with the Beaverton Bakery representative to decide on prices

and selection of products.
